Massive Crowd Gathers in Washington, DC to 'Defeat the Mandates'
Thousands of Americans from all walks of life gathered in the nation’s capital on Sunday to protest the medical mandates that have been decreed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dubbed “Defeat the Mandates: An American Homecoming,” the event was part of a nationwide protest meant to show solidarity for every individual’s right to be free.
The organizers borrowed heavily from the famous “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom” event on Aug. 28, 1963, where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Sunday’s event began with a march from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial where a variety of speakers spoke out in support of freedom.
JP Sears, a comedian, YouTuber and self-described “lover of freedom,” emceed the protest. He began the event by saying, “Right now we are authoring the future for ourselves. We have pen in hand. But more important than authoring the future for ourselves, we are authoring the future for our children, our grandchildren, and our great-grandchildren. It’s our fault what their lives are going to be like. So thank you for being here to choose a better future and to choose freedom for yourself, and the world around you, and for future generations.”
Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone, both recent guests on the number 1 podcast in the world, “The Joe Rogan Experience” hosted by Joe Rogan, headlined the event.
McCullough, board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology and one of the pioneers and leading advocates of early treatment of COVID-19 with repurposed medications, stood in front of several physicians where he praised them for their work in successfully treating COVID-19 to prevent hospitalization and death. He also told the crowd thatΒ “the determination to preserve medical freedom is in your hands.”
Malone, the original inventor of mRNA vaccine technology, in making his case against vaccine mandates said, “These are my truths and I believe they are self-evident. We should not have politicized the public health response to SARS-COV-2 and COVID-19. Regarding the genetic COVID vaccines, the science is settled. They’re not working. They are not completely safe.”
“Now we have omicron. These vaccines were designed for the original Wuhan strain. A different virus. Whether they made sense for protecting our elderly and frail from the original virus is irrelevant. So let’s stop arguing about that. We must look forward. These vaccines do not prevent omicron infection, viral replication, or spread to others. In our daily lives, with our friends, with our families, we all know this is true,” Malone continued.
“These genetic vaccines are leaky, they have poor durability, and even if every man, woman, and child in the United States were vaccinated, these products cannot achieve herd immunity and stop COVID. They are not completely safe and the full nature of the risks remain unknown. In contrast, the natural immunity which healthy immune systems develop after infection and recovery from COVID is long-lasting, broad, and highly protective from disease and death caused by this virus. If there is risk, there must be choice.”

Other notable doctors who spoke at the event or who were present on the stage included Dr. Ryan Cole, Dr. Richard Urso, Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Paul Alexander, Dr. Lynn Fynn, Dr. Heather Gessling, Dr. Katarina Lindley, Dr. Jill Malone, Dr. Angelina Farella, Dr. Ben Marble, Dr. Richard Amerling, Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, Dr. Mark Romzek, Dr. Mary Bowden, and Dr. John Witcher.
In addition to several doctors, a group of people who claim to have experienced injuries from the various vaccines spoke. Joel Wallskog, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, described his experience with the Moderna injection.
Approximately one week after receiving the injection, Wallskog said his feet went numb. Within days, Wallskog said, his legs became weak and unstable, and he collapsed at work. Shortly after his fall, he said he was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, a severe and potentially permanent injury to his spinal cord.
Wallskog said the severity of his symptoms has prevented him from safely continuing his work as a surgeon. Wallskog founded React 19, a research-focused grassroots organization made up of patients, scientists and physicians, to increase the understanding of COVID-19 in those who experience systemic and prolonged symptoms after acute infection or after vaccination.
Kyle Warner, a professional mountain biker, said he was seriously injured by his second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Warner said he stayed quiet after his vaccination in fear he would create vaccine hesitancy because he was told his injury was extremely rare. Warner finally spoke out in a YouTube video and he was discovered by members of React 19 who reached out to him to offer help. Warner spoke out against the liability protections that pharmaceutical companies have under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986.
Another React 19 member present on the stage was Ernest Ramirez who said he lost his 16-year-old son five days after his son received the Pfizer vaccine.
Perhaps the most prominent speaker was Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, an environmental lawyer, author and chairman of the Board of Children’s Health Defense, a non-profit organization whose mission is to end childhood health epidemics. The nephew of former President John F. Kennedy focused on how the rights of Americans were severely violated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He focused on specific rights in the Bill of Rights that he said were violated, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, privacy and due process. In regards to vaccine passports, Kennedy said, “The minute they hand you that vaccine passport, every right that you have is transformed into a privilege contingent upon your obedience to arbitrary government dictates.”
The event ultimately ran longer than the permitted amount of time and the livestream was cut short. Other notable speakers who spoke or were scheduled to speak included Steve Kirsch, Jenny Beth Martin, Will Witt, Tricia Lindsay, Kevin Jenkins, Rev. Aaron Lewis, Rabbi Zev Epstein, Tramell Johnson, Jo Rose, Angela Stanton King, Kwame Brown, Trahern Crews and dozens of firefighters and first responders.
