Who Won the Presidential Debate? Here Are Some Highlights To Help You Decide

Well, that’s a wrap.
The final presidential debate of 2020 is in the books, and it was a memorable one.
President Donald Trump was calmer and more collected than he was during the last debate, but he was no less vicious in blasting Joe Biden.
The former vice president, meanwhile, offered more of the same and seemed content merely responding to Trump rather than going on any sort of offensive.
Here are some of the top moments from Thursday’s debate:
The best line of the night easily belonged to Trump, when he compared the Biden family to a fairly common household item.
“His son, his brother and his other brother are getting rich. They’re like a vacuum cleaner, they’re sucking up money,” Trump said.
The other contender for Trump’s line of the night occurred when the topic of children in cages came up.
Biden tried to attack Trump for separating migrant children from their parents at the border. Naturally, Biden tried to pin some of the blame for the conditions the children were subjected to, such as cages, on the president.
“They did it, we changed the policy,” Trump responded, noting that it was actually Obama-era policies that were to blame.
Then Trump lowered the boom.
“Who built the cages, Joe?”
Of course, Biden gave ample opportunity to embarrass himself without any help from Trump.
Biden was caught red-handed with the biggest lie of the night when he claimed that the Obama administration played no role in the aforementioned family separation policy.
In short, that’s simply not true. Even The Associated Press had refuted similar claims in the past.
To be fair, there may not be too many people left who are genuinely undecided between Trump and Biden.
But for those that are actually on the fence, Trump’s debate performance on Thursday night could very well have swayed them.
