Texas Medical Board Dismisses Complaint Against Dr. Stella Immanuel
Dr. Stella Immanuel was thrust into the spotlight when she became the center of attention in a viral video featuring doctors discussing hydroxychloroquine.
Immanuel’s impassioned support of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for the coronavirus drew quite a bit of attention, particularly negative coverage from mainstream media sites.
“Stella Immanuel – the doctor behind the unproven coronavirus cure claim,” the BBC said.
“4 Things to Know About Dr. Stella Immanuel, Trump’s New Favorite COVID Doc,” Men’s Health reported.
The Daily Beast and CNN were both weirdly fixated on “alien DNA” in their negative coverage of Immanuel.
Likely due in no small part to that video and the subsequent negative coverage, Immanuel tweeted on Aug. 18 that the Washington, D.C., Texas and Louisiana medical boards had “opened queries” on her.

Well, at least one of those boards has dismissed a complaint against the doctor.

Immanuel tweeted out Wednesday that the Texas Medical Board had dismissed the complaint due to “insufficient evidence.”

“The investigation referenced above has been dismissed because the Board determined there was insufficient evidence to prove that a violation of the Medical Practices Act occurred,” read the letter to Immanuel from the board, dated Aug. 26.
“As such, this complaint has been dismissed without prejudice,” the letter continued. “No further action will be taken concerning this complaint.”
Dr. Immanuel has not yet revealed the status of the other queries involving D.C. and Louisiana boards.
